Women’s Services
Our hospital is a pacesetter in Michigan for obstetrics care. In 2025, 457 babies were delivered by our labor and delivery team. New mothers who deliver at our hospital can participate in the ROSE (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for Mothers of Newborns) Program. This evidence-based approach aims to reduce postpartum depression by empowering new mothers with support, resources and tools.
Orthopaedic Care
Our orthopaedic specialists deliver comprehensive treatment plans, from conservative therapies to surgical treatments. In 2025, our orthopaedic experts performed nearly 1,300 surgeries. With advanced robotically assisted surgery available, our surgeons can perform minimally invasive procedures that typically make surgery and recovery easier for patients.
Cancer Care
The ProMedica Monroe Cancer Center offers cutting-edge care from ProMedica Cancer Institute. Our new linear accelerator provides targeted radiation treatment that improves patient safety, outcomes and comfort. We also offer clinical trials, cancer rehabilitation and Healing Care for patient support.

Neighbors Caring for Neighbors
One thing that I want the community to know is the high level of care that we can provide here. We have the second highest ICU acuity in the ProMedica system, just below Toledo Hospital. We can treat extremely sick patients right here at home, without needing to transfer to a bigger hospital.
I am so proud to be a small part of this hospital for the last 23 years. I have trusted this hospital to deliver my three children, to repair the worn-down joints of my loved ones, to take care of me when I was in need of medical intervention and even trusted the hospital as my colleagues saved the life of someone I love dearly. I am blessed enough to work side by side daily with some of the most compassionate, caring and extremely skilled and talented health care providers and health care support that you will find anywhere.
It makes me proud to serve the community that I grew up and still live in. I want people to know that our hospital is a resource to them in so many ways due to the broad scope of services we provide. I also want our community to know that we have a team of staff and leadership that is truly dedicated to their care and being a part of the Monroe community.
I'm proud to be part of ProMedica because I know I make a real difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve built genuine relationships with many of our patients. We offer support, a listening ear, and even a comforting hug when needed. My wife also works at ProMedica, and together, we wholeheartedly believe in the Mission. We’ve found our purpose here — serving a community we deeply care about.
