of religious and spiritual life of our community, and our patients. Our
chaplain can provide emotional and spiritual support, which includes
prayer, providing religious materials, providing emotional support,
helping to process medical decisions or assisting you in contacting your
personal clergy/spiritual leader.
The chapel for Wildwood is located across from the fireplace in
our Norman and Louise Jones Atrium, on the first floor.
A chaplain is
available for a visit on Thursdays by notifying your nurse or by calling
419-291-4007 to arrange a visit.
Eucharistic ministers from local Catholic congregations may bring the
Host to distribute to inpatients who have a Roman Catholic religious
affiliation. Members of other Christian denominations may request
communion through their own faith community. People of other faiths may
request religious rites through their particular faith community as they
are in keeping with hospital standards of care. Please let your nurse
know if you wish to be visited by your local faith organization.
