Visiting hours. We have flexible visiting hours, but note that a patient’s doctor may limit visits, or a specific hospital unit may have unique visiting hour guidelines. To confirm, call 419-291-4000 or 866-865-4677 (toll free).
Information Desk. Located at the main hospital entrances, representatives are available to direct you. Or call 419-291-4567.
The Vitae Café is a full-service cafeteria, located on Level 1 of our hospital in the Generations Tower. The menu varies daily. Open daily from 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and 12:30 – 3 a.m. View cafeteria menu.
Barry Bagels Express is located between the Harris McIntosh and Jobst Towers and serves a daily assortment of bagels and cream cheeses, sandwiches, eggles, and Caribou coffee, espresso drinks, and smoothies. We’re open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., closed weekends and holidays.
Guest meal tray. You may purchase a guest tray for delivery to you in the patient’s room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dial 6368 from a house phone, or call 419-291-6368.
Gifts and Flowers
Gift shops. Our ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Toledo Children's Hospital Auxiliary operates two gift shops on campus, located at Entrance B and next to the hospital cafeteria. Gifts, cards, books, magazines, candy, flowers, seasonal collectibles, and personal articles are available. Proceeds benefit patient care services and programs at ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital.
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday: Noon – 8 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 5 p.m.

Mom and Me Boutique. Find essentials every new mom needs. In addition to other gift items, the Mom and Me Boutique also offers breastfeeding supply specialty items like: nursing bras, tank tops, pajamas, and nursing pillows. Choose from a range of breast pumps for purchase or rent. Located near Entrance F.

Other Amenities and Policies
ATMs. Get cash at ATM machines conveniently located throughout the hospital:
- Across from the pharmacy at Entrance B
- On Level 1 of the hospital near the cafeteria entrance
- Inside the cafeteria
- In the Education Center lobby
Cell phone usage. You may use your cell phone in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, public waiting areas, and the cafeteria. However, cell phones are not allowed within six feet of medical equipment or in non-public restricted areas such as intensive care units, surgery, recovery, and the lab.
Internet access. Get wireless Internet access throughout ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Desktop computers are available for your use in our library (located off the lobby at Entrance F), open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Mail, delivery, and postage. We have daily delivery to patient rooms by our volunteer services. Mail received after a patient leaves the hospital will be forwarded to the home address provided. You can purchase postage stamps in our lobby, and send mail via the mail slots located near the main elevators on each floor.
Newspapers. Purchase USA Today, The Detroit Free Press, and The Blade newspapers in the lobby of Entrance F. The Blade is also available for purchase in our cafeteria and in the lobby of Entrance B.
Spiritual care. Request to meet with our chaplain, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients and loved ones get support, prayers, sacraments, and devotional materials. Visit our non-denominational chapel, located on Level 1, for quiet thoughts and meditation. Call 419-291-4007.
Smoking policy. We are tobacco free, indoors and outdoors. This includes our lawns, walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and inside your vehicle. As a courtesy, please also be considerate of our neighbors and avoid littering and loitering on their properties.
