As the oldest continually operating family medicine residency in the region, we employ a multidisciplinary approach to medical education that provides important training in all aspects of family medicine including obstetrics, pediatrics, care of ambulatory and hospital patients, practice administration, pharmacy, patient education, and community medicine. We offer six residency position for each post-graduate year.
By joining our nationally recognized residency, you'll take advantage of:
- Dual accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Knowledgeable faculty with diverse interests

In February 2013, our residency relocated to the newly constructed Mary Ellen Falzone Diabetes Center. Located on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital, the center is the region's first facility dedicated to diabetes education and care. The centralized location is home to a multidisciplinary team of experts and will serve as an educational resource for physicians, residents and clinicians.
