Whether you want to offer athletes in your practice the very best care, or you’re interested in treating athletes at events, the ProMedica Toledo Hospital Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship gives you the advanced training and hands-on experience you need to enhance your clinical performance.
As a fellow, you’ll have many opportunities to work with athletes at all levels. Our fellows provide team sports coverage at Triple-A baseball, ECHL minor league hockey, NCAA Division I, area high school and community athletic events. They also work side-by-side with fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons in their clinics, the training room and the operating room.
One of the first of its kind in the United States, our 12-month program is dually accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Osteopathic Association, and is a member of the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System Consortium OPTI.
