James Bingle, MD, FACC
President, ProMedica Heart and Vascular Institutes
James Bingle, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with ProMedica Physicians Cardiology. He began his career with ProMedica Physicians Cardiology in 1986. Dr. Bingle completed his fellowship in cardiology at The University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind.
In 2011, in addition to his cardiology practice, Dr. Bingle became president of ProMedica Heart and Vascular Institutes. He and his wife, Nancy, have five children and one grandchild.
Ken Armstrong, MBA
Chief Operating Officer, ProMedica Heart and Vascular Institutes
Ken Armstrong has been with ProMedica for more than 20 years. He has 25 years of senior leadership responsibility in small and large healthcare organizations. His focus has been in hospital operations, healthcare product lines, strategic planning and development, physician alignment strategies, and healthcare information systems development. In 2013, he became chief operating officer of ProMedica Heart and Vascular Institutes. In 2014, he served as the co-chair for the American Heart Association’s Toledo Heart Walk.
