Hospital pricing and payment can be topics of concern for many patients. We at ProMedica are committed to communicating with you in advance so that you know what to expect when it comes to the cost of services. Our pricing specialist can review your insurance benefits for the services your doctor has ordered to provide you with an estimate of your final bill. We have provided hospital pricing for the most common healthcare services at Bixby Hospital for your convenience. How do you get there? Get driving directions to ProMedica Bixby Hospital.
Where do you park? Park in any non-reserved spot in our lots. Handicapped accessible spots are available close to the entrances.
Where do you go? From the main entrance, proceed to the information desk. Our volunteers will direct you to where you need to go and help you start your paperwork.
What do you need to bring to be admitted? Bring your photo ID, an insurance card, and anything that’s essential to your daily function (glasses, hearing aids, etc). Also bring a change of clothes for when you return home.
When are you able to leave the hospital? Your doctor carefully watches your health after your procedure, surgery, or other treatments. When you’ve made enough progress to continue healing at home or in another facility, you'll be discharged.
A discharge planner will work with your doctors and nurses to assess your medical needs. If needed, your planner will help you arrange any appropriate continuing care services, such as dialysis, home health care, rehabilitation therapy, or wound care. Learn more about continuing care at ProMedica.
If you have questions, call patient resources at 517-265-0279. They will direct you to your discharge planner. Please remember to take any of your personal belongings with you when you leave.
What if you don’t have a way to get home? If you don’t have a car or someone to drive you, tell your nurse you need help as soon as possible. We'll arrange transportation for you.
