More Options for Convenient Care
ProMedica offers telehealth services, providing you more ways to get the care you need. Through telemedicine video and telephone visits, both new and existing patients are able to connect to providers in more than 30 specialties from the comfort of home.
A telemed visit is just like an in-person visit, but over the phone or through a secure video app. You’ll still receive the same thorough care that you would if you were at your provider’s office.
When you call your provider to schedule an appointment, they’ll help determine whether a telephone visit, a virtual video visit or an in-person visit is right for you. If a telemed visit is the best option, your provider will schedule your visit for a time that’s convenient for you.
Scheduling Your Telemed Visit
1. Call your provider.
Call your ProMedica provider to discuss the reason for your visit. They’ll make sure that an in-person visit isn’t necessary and determine if a telephone visit or video visit is best for you.
2. Download the Vidyo Connect app through ProMedica MyChart.
If you’re scheduled for a video visit, please take time to review the instructional video, located on your MyChart homepage, which will demonstrate how to join your scheduled video visit. If you don’t have a MyChart account yet, your provider’s office will help you get set up.
3. Check-in for your visit online.
Log in to ProMedica MyChart up to seven days before your telephone or video visit to complete your registration.
4. Have your appointment.
For a video visit, log on at least 15 minutes before your appointment time. For a telephone visit, your provider will give you a call at the scheduled time.
Find your ProMedica provider to schedule a MyChart video visit.
