ProMedica Air ACE Program
Auxiliary Crew Experience
ProMedica Air’s ACE program provides public safety and hospital personnel a unique opportunity to spend a day with the flight team and gain a better understanding of the many components of air medical transport.
Ride along with ProMedica Air for up to a 12-hour shift between 0800-2000 hours. During your shift, you will be an auxiliary crew member and accompany the flight crew on all missions. Please read the requirements below closely to see if you qualify. Once you have submitted the form, a member of ProMedica Air will be in contact with you.
- Qualified Personnel: must meet the weight limit of 200 pounds, fully clothed with boots on
- Public Safety Personnel: EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement or dispatchers who are working for a 911 service within ProMedica Air’s local service area
- Hospital Personnel: physicians and nurses who work in the emergency department or any critical care unit
- Students: nursing in their last semester of school, EMT or firefighter students who are at least 18 years old
If you have any questions or are not sure whether you meet all the requirements, please contact Michael Foss at 419-291-1684 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
*If accepted into the ACE Program, the auxiliary crew member must come to ProMedica Air’s administration office to be weighed and sign the consent form.
