First Year

*With flexible benefits, residents can design a financial benefit package that fits their individual needs. Funds provided are to be used at the resident's discretion. These funds are designed to help cover benefit items such as books, personal equipment, memberships, dues, day care, housing, health club memberships, and other miscellaneous benefits. An iPad 2 is provided to each resident for use during residency.
Time Off
First-, Second- and Third-Year residents: 20 working days
Educational Conferences
First Year: $100 allowance
Second Year: $1,800 allowance
Third Year: $1,800 allowance*
Meals
A meal ticket is provided for in-house residents who are on call at night.

Liability/Malpractice insurance - provided at no cost
Health and Prescription - The program offers several options for medical insurance under the hospital's flexible benefits program. ProMedica promotes a smoke-free environment for all new employees.
Additional Benefits:
Dental, Disability and Vision Coverage – The Program offers several options for the above under the hospital's flexible benefits program.
Life – A base plan is provided at no cost. Additional benefits may be purchased up to two times salary.
Moving Expenses
In accordance with hospital policy, an allowance up to $2,500 is available for relocations within the continental United States.
