Clerkships & Additional Residencies
In conjunction with our residency, we offer several opportunities for students with diverse interests, including a pharmacy residency that works along with our primary care team in the hospital and practice settings, and a sports medicine fellowship in which fellows collaborate with Sports Care®, a comprehensive medical/surgical, rehabilitation and training program.
With a long tradition of training medical students at The Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children’s Hospital, the residency is an approved clerkship site for The University of Toledo College of Medicine, the University of Michigan Medical School and the Mountain State Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institutions through the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Students from other LCME- or AOA-approved medical schools are encouraged to arrange family medicine rotations as well.
