Meet Our Team

Together, our staff works as a team to bring a sense of peace. Physicians and skilled nurses manage pain and symptoms with expert care. Social workers provide a listening ear and counseling. Home health aides assist with personal care. Trained volunteers support the patient so caregivers can enjoy well-deserved breaks. ProMedica also has excellent respite care services available. Chaplains offer spiritual support to patients and families alike. A nurse is always available to patients and families 24 hours a day should any questions or emergencies arise.

Brigitte David, RN

Director of Provider Relations and Family Services

I approach nursing like a ministry. I feel fortunate that for more than 25 years I have been able to guide and support patients and their families through their illnesses. By having meaningful but difficult conversations with patients and their families about their illness and care, I am able to educate them about their care options, empower them to choose the best care for them and support their families throughout the decision making process. I am humbled that I get to work with families at such a difficult time in their lives.

Jenell Mahoney, RN

Clinical Director

I have been a nurse for more than 20 years. During this time, I cared for cancer patients searching for a cure, then worked in palliative care where I helped patients find comfort and improve their quality of life. Hospice nursing is truly my passion. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to work with an amazing team who touches the lives of patients and families each and every day through the work they do.

Beth Taylor, BS

Director of Operations

I have had the opportunity for the past 20 years to serve as a member of a hospice team. The past six years that I have worked with ProMedica Hospice have been the most rewarding. On a daily basis, I get to hear the stories our staff share on how the work they do is making a difference in patients’ and families’ lives. Hospice care is about empowerment. We empower the family to provide the needed care for their love one. And, we empower our staff to provide care and support so our patients and families can meet their goals.
