Women’s Health Services
At ProMedica Flower Hospital, we are pleased to serve the health needs of women in our community through a full range of infant care, childbirth, and childbirth education services.
Flower Hospital features the area’s first combined labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites, allowing patients to remain in one room throughout the entire birthing process. The family-centered maternity unit’s 16 private rooms include a sleeper sofa, refrigerator and microwave. Additional services include 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage and 24-hour in-house obstetrician coverage. The nursery also has 24-hour on-call coverage by the neonatologist at ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital.

Preparation for Parenthood, a department of the Center for Women's Health at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, offers a variety of programs and classes to help you prepare for your new baby. The Center for Women’s Health of Toledo Hospital and Flower Hospital is pleased to provide you with a wide range of classes and services designed especially for your growing family.
