Located 60 miles southwest of Toledo between the Maumee and Auglaize rivers, ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital serves residents in the City of Defiance, Ohio. Named one of the top 100 small towns by Site Selection Magazine for the past seven years, the city offers idyllic landscapes, numerous recreational activities, a 150-acre college campus and thriving businesses. The town is also home to several acclaimed residents, including: 2006 Indianapolis 500 Champion Sam Hornish Jr.; LA Dodgers pitcher Chad Billingsley; New York Mets player Jonathon Niese; minor league player Chad Reinek; and sixteen-time National Horseshoe Champion Alan Francis.
