Community Health & Wellness
Flower Hospital provides community health and wellness programs, classes and services to local community members and businesses. A variety of educational programs and support groups are offered each month, both on site at Flower Hospital as well as throughout the community. We promote wellness by providing health risk appraisals, health clinics, education, fitness activities and resources, and referrals.
Free Colorectal Screening Kits
Free colorectal screening kits are available to community members by calling Flower Hospital oncology outreach at 419-843-8189.

Proceeds from the Mayberry Memorial will be donated to Hickman Cancer Center on the campus of Flower Hospital and to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Oley Foundation, Northwest Ohio Chapter

Oley Foundation and the ProMedica Cancer Institute have formed a local support group for all people who suffer from severe medical conditions that require them to be fed using intravenous or home tube feeding methods. These methods are known clinically as home parenteral (IV) and enteral (tube) feedings, or homePEN, and are used for people with a wide range of chronic diseases including Crohn’s disease, short bowel syndrome, cancer and other disorders. The new group will meet several times a year to help people and their families learn more about home tube and IV feeding options and to meet others who are facing the same challenges in their daily lives.
