Also 2.8% of the adult population is affected by severe mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, manic depressive illness, and severe forms of depression, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.

A multidisciplinary team of psychiatric specialists provides a full range of medical services, cognitive therapy, group psychotherapy, psycho-education groups, family involvement and outpatient services.
