Rehabilitation

ProMedica Health System includes several rehabilitation centers specializing in acute inpatient medical rehabilitation. Our goal is to help individuals of all ages—including pediatrics—maximize their functional independence and return to the community. We provide a comprehensive treatment program that integrates traditional physical, occupational and speech-language therapies with rehabilitation nursing, therapeutic recreation and rehabilitation psychology.

ProMedica rehabilitation centers address our patients’ physical, neurological, social and cognitive needs. Our professionals coordinate their various specialties and work together to help all patients reach their goals.

Family input regarding goals and motivation are critical to patient success. Staff members work closely with families to teach necessary skills and techniques before the patient is discharged.
