Who We Are
The
Lake Erie Regional Cooperative (LERC) is a subchapter T purchasing
cooperative with more than 250 members across Ohio and Michigan. Our
mission is to provide practical solutions to our member partners by
offering an innovative supply chain portfolio of products and services
based on aggregate purchasing power.
We serve members of all sizes with diverse affiliations and needs.
Our members include 27 acute care facilities, as well as other health
care organizations at over 500 sites, from doctor’s offices, clinics
and long-term care facilities to schools and human service
organizations.
Since 1997, we have saved our members over $13 million and delivered over $14 million in cash patronage and dividends.

Our members are affiliated with several health systems in the
region. The flagship health system of LERC is ProMedica Health System,
a $1.3 billion health care IDN based in Toledo, Ohio. ProMedica
is the management company for LERC and is responsible for daily
operations, including the development and marketing of our supply
contracts.
LERC members include hospitals and health care facilities that
provide the full spectrum of health care services such as surgery
centers, long-term care, home health, rehabilitation, sports medicine,
urgent care, patient transportation and more.
