CHAMPS
CHAMPS (Choosing Hope and Moving Past Sadness) is a program designed to help kids ages six and up, and their parents/guardians, cope with a loved one’s cancer. The program is offered in two formats: a three-day day camp in the summer, and as evening sessions offered each month, March – December (formerly known as The Next Step). The program will help kids relate to other peers, provide a safe place for self expression and will provide resources to help alleviate fears about cancer.
