CHAMPS and Teen CHAMPS (Choosing Hope and Moving Past Sadness) are programs designed to help kids ages six and up cope when a loved one has cancer.

The programs are offered in two formats:  evening sessions offered once a month; January-May and September-December (parents are invited to participate in a support group while their children are in programming) AND a three day summer camp held in June at the University of Toledo Recreation Center.

The programs benefit children and teens by giving them a safe place to explore their feelings, and by providing an opportunity for them to be with peers who are experiencing  similar situations.
