Bernadette Reinhart Honored With ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Leadership Award
posted on: 08/20/2013FOSTORIA, OHIO, August 19, 2013 – Bernadette “Bernie” Reinhart, manager, patient access, cashier, communications, was recognized as the next recipient of the quarterly ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital “Big Kahuna” leadership award. Bernie was selected by fellow leader and past recipient of the award, Betsy Faeth, director, infection, prevention, safety and customer service.
“Bernie is creative, embraces challenges, and is dedicated to making ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital the best it can be,” said Betsy Faeth. “I truly enjoy working with Bernie and am thankful she is part of our team.”
Bernie joined the ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital team 35 years ago.
Her expertise stems from working in many different departments including admitting, registration and billing.
Some of the reasons why Bernie was recognized include: her values and commitment seen through her every day actions and interactions; being a team player and often going the extra mile to help resolve any problems that may arise; and dedication to excellence in customer service by ensuring her areas of responsibility are efficient and the services are seamless for patients.
Bernie, a Fostoria native, has participated in a number of events through the hospital as well as community service programs such as, the Auxiliary, St. Wendelin and Relay for Life team captain. She also sews and has donated nearly 100 pillow cases for Conkerr Cancer to date.
Outside of work, Bernie enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, Rick to whom she has been married 28 years, as well as her sons Jonathon and Justin.
