ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Hosts Free Screening Mammogram Event
posted on: 08/20/2013FOSTORIA, OHIO, July 10, 2013 – ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital will offer free breast cancer screenings to uninsured and under-insured patients on Wed., July 24, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., in the Donald and Judy Miller Diagnostic Center, entrance 1. The program is being funded through a grant from Northwest Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The screenings will include a clinical breast exam, screening mammogram, education, and follow-up support. ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital will provide these services in partnership with ProMedica Cancer Institute, ProMedica Bay Park Women’s Services and Riverside Radiology and Interventional Associates.
Additional free screening mammogram events will be held Oct. 16, 2013 and Jan. 15, 2014.
