It's hard enough to see a loved one in need of medical care. But when that person is your child, the stakes are even higher. As a parent, you want to make sure your child receives the best possible care. And we're here to make that happen.
Not only do we have our ProMedica Toledo Children's Hospital, the region's only hospital exclusively for children accredited by the Joint Commission, ProMedica Toledo Hospital also has a dedicated children's Emergency Center.
In addition, ProMedica Bay Park Hospital and ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital both have pediatric therapy and rehabilitation programs which specialize in minimizing disability and maximizing independence for newborns through 21-year-olds. Speech, occupational and physical therapists work diligently to facilitate motor, sensory and communication skills in a compassionate environment. They also teach families what to do at home, as well as help them get the equipment they need to function at their highest level outside the hospital.
