We're committed to supporting medical discovery through clinical research and clinical trials. It's this kind of support that allows us the ability to recruit some of the finest physicians, researchers and scientists in the medical field. For instance, clinical trials and research give our patients access to some of the latest medical advancements they might not have had access to otherwise. Of course, in this case, and all of our research and clinical trials, we adhere to the most stringent medical and ethical standards. Our patients' well-being is always top of mind.
Research Opportunities
Our research opportunities are constantly changing. We currently host several hundred active research projects in more than 35 clinical areas including oncology, cardiology, nephrology, orthopaedics, pediatric cystic fibrosis, vascular, and more.
Institutional Review Board
Research and clinical trials often make use of the latest drugs, newest medical treatments, the latest technology. Our Institutional Review Board works with researchers to make sure that all research is conducted safely and with the well-being of trial participants in mind.
Academic Health Center
We're strengthening our agreement with the University of Toledo thanks to our new Academic Health Center program. Our collaboration will enhance research, grants, residency programs, fellowships, continuing education, and more.
