All hospitals within ProMedica Health System are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).  Accreditation means that our hospitals have demonstrated compliance with national standards for patient safety and quality of care in surveys conducted by JCAHO.
 
ProMedica Health System views these surveys not as one-time "inspections" of compliance with standards, but rather as part of our continual commitment to patient safety and quality care.  We embrace the opportunity to have key processes validated and welcome recommendations for improvement.
